Jared Lee Loughner
The name of a terrorist. The press won’t depict him as such but that’s precisely what he is. He attacked a member of Congress and a judge. He shot indiscriminately at innocent people who I’m sure he and his right wing fans view as “casualties of war”.
Sarah Palin should be viewed as a state sponsor of terror as should Fox News. They instigate actions such as this fools as well as whoever sent those packages to the head of Homeland Security and other explosive packages found at postal facilities. This shooting was an act of terrorism. It’s titled “domestic terrorism” via the F.B.I.. How do I know? When I was police officer back in 1999, I attended a domestic terrorism class that the F.B.I. sponsored that educated law enforcement personnel on the threats that militias fueled such as the Oklahoma City Federal building bombing and how these groups operated in the U.S.
Fast foward to 2009 when Napolitano, Head of Homeland Security, warned of the radical rights threat to our democracy. The explosive package addressed to Napolitano… how is that any different then the packages destined for Jews in Detroit from Yemen terrorist via UPS and FedEx in 2010? There is no difference.
Jared Lee Loughner has put a face on the threat of domestic terrorism as it exists today and that face is that of a white guy. Not Arab. Not Black. Not Hispanic.
The public media inflates their self importance by appointing themselves as experts on explaining the inexplicable. I don’t recall the liberal bloggers outcrying when people marched with placards on kill Bush, or videos were broadcast on the killing of Bush. This murder is senseless, and more senseless is the cause and effect logic that liberal bloggers take for fact that Loughner was brainwashed by TEA hatred and inflamed to kill.
McVeigh was obviously a Bircher Republican bomber that listened to Rush Limbaugh, until facts showed no connection. But the spectacular accusation for propaganda is more important then facts. In fact that technique is the accusation you posit in this blog how FOX has programmed the killer?
As your God once said, “There you go again”… I was alive and breathing when Dubya was President. You can’t be serious. There were no threats against George Bush. I guess you don’t remember “Watch what you say”… One thing I guarantee you, as a former federal police officer, NO ONE blogged kill Bush without getting a visit from the Secret Service. That threat was quickly neutralized.
And how do you use a liberal blogger as a comparison to the reach and effect that Fox News has on spraying vitriol through Sarah Palin, Glen Beck and Bill O’Reilly?
Really? And just because YOU say that “facts showed no connection” between McVeigh and Rush Limbaugh makes it so. One thing I know is that you radical right wing bloggers make up your own facts. Next time provide a link or something that shows where this research on a Limbaugh connection took place.

White supremacy groups, or black panther groups have connections to white and black extremists. So what? I don’t equate bloggers having the same impact as commercial media. However, the TEA party conservatives don’t have a open microphone at National Public Radio, but liberals have dozens of television personalities with Chris Matthew “my leg is tingling”, etc. So what? I don’t care who talks for or against ideas. I do care who decides to claim a lunatic is an agent for the TEA folks who are not white supremacy nazi idiots. As much as the NBC and NPR folks try, they can’t drag in anyone credible to connect TEA to nazi white supremacy groups. Keep trying.
