Does anyone even mention the “Contract With America” anymore? Trust me, if the shoe was on the other foot, todays media would be all over the Democrats asking, ” Just how has that contract turned out?

The mantra of Republican ideology since the days of Reagan has been “less government, more prosperity”. Twenty years ago through ONE month ago, you could not have had a conversation with a Republican about the economy without them saying “there’s too much government regulation/involvement in our lives. If government gets out the way, businesses can do what they need to do to keep the economy growing.”

For the past two years, the Democrats have had a slim majority in Congress. They can’t even pass anything strong enough to override a Presidential veto. Prior to this time frame, the first six years of Dupya’s Presidency was controlled by Republicans who had a decided majority in Congress. They passed bills that were shaped by their ideology of “less government, more prosperity” at their leisure. The only tool Democrats had  against the Republican majority during that time was the use of the filibuster. To take this even further, Congress was also controlled by Republican’s during the entire 8 years of the Clinton Administration.

Today, Republicans (though the minority in Congress) don’t even have to use a filibuster on Capitol Hill. They don’t need it. They have enough votes at anytime to vote down anything the Democrats bring up. They have passed legislation that has given tax breaks that along with the war in Iraq, has driven the budget deficit to record proportions. The Bush Administration has put political appointees in every administrative position in all government agencies that workto prevent the proper functioning of these agencies.

When Advocates Become Regulators President Bush has installed more than 100 top officials who were once lobbyists, attorneys or spokespeople for the industries they oversee.

The mantra of less government has been the drum that has been beat on by Republicans. Now they are saying that more regulation is needed and that it is just as much the Democrats fault as it is theirs that the country is nearing a “Great Depression”, no recession. WTF?

Essentially, you are the type of person who would actually vote for George W. Bush TWICE if you believe the McCain Campaign:

  1. Decided after the vetting process that Sarah Palin had a 17 year old unwed daughter that was 5 months pregnant and concluded that she was just the quality VP choice needed for him win against Barack Obama.
  2. Knew that Palin’s daughters boyfriend and unborn child’s father, Levi Johnston, had a MySpace page that proclaimed he’s a redneck and “don’t want kids” and decided it was O.K. for him to keep it up and going well after the pick was made/announced.
  3. Decide to (and no doubt through Sarah Palins direction ) tell Johnston to abruptly take the cite down AFTER the press finds out about it and reports on it.

Quite simply, McCain shot from the hip on this decision. The same type of hip shot that Bush did when he choose people like Michael Brown to head FEMA. Or Benard Kerik to head THE FRICKIN DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY.

McCain nor his people in NO Way knew of these issues when they chose Palin.  I DON’T CARE WHAT THEY SAY.

Republicans are the kings of steer. They are briefing their troops on how to answer questions about Palin. If they bothered vetting Palin in the first place surely they would have decided that she was just too risky a pick in a time when they needed a home run pick. Plain and simple, they did a horrible job of vetting the choice. YOU CANNOT TELL ME THERE IS NOT ANOTHER REPUBLICAN WOMAN OUT THERE THAT DOES NOT HAVE THIS KIND OF BAGGAGE WHO WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN A BETTER VP CHOICE THEN PALIN!

Take a look at the product the GOP has put out as it’s finest during the Bush Administration:

GEORGE W. BUSH

MICHAEL BROWN

DICK CHANEY

DONALD RUMSFIELD

LINDA CHAVEZ

PAUL WOLFOWITZ

TOM DELAY

ALBERTO GONZALEZ

So many others…

These are the types of people we will continue to have placed in positions of the federal government that affect our very lives if John McCain is elected President.

Forget about Palin’s kids. It’s her political background that links her to the list of fools above:

  • Troopergate
  • Firing police chiefs because town businesses felt he was hurting their business ENFORCING THE LAW!
  • Saying she’s against earmarks when her time as Mayor AND Governor was/is marked by her lobbying efforts for and receiving earmarks.
  • Campaigning for and eliminating funding for teen pregnancy prevention programs and instead spouting off about “abstinence” is enough for teen pregnancy prevention.

Which brings me back to her kids.

Palin has made a political career of spouting off about how she is against abortion and funding in schools that teach teens about safe sex. It’s because of these types of stances that makes Palin’s 17 year old daughter being pregnant because she did not practice absitnence nor safe sex a ligitimate topic for voters know about while conducting their own “vetting” process in choosing who to vote for for President. The very center of the voter vetting process of John McCain now begs the question, “What was McCain Thinking?”

For some reason, Republicans refuse to understand that we are in the age of the internet. You can’t just come out with a press conference or have cronnies go on Sunday talk shows and successfully gloss over factual dirt that is reported on the internet like you could in the 90’s and earlier times. BECAUSE THERE WAS NO MYSPACE AND OTHER TYPES OF INTERNET MEDIA VENUES DURING THOSE TIMES  LIKE THERE ARE TODAY!

‘You know what the difference is between you and me?  I make this look good!

Obama fist bump:

A new age of leadership

Vs.

George Bush Chest bump

This is not cool

This is not right

This is should NEVER be done

As you can see, at the very least, the Obama Administration will be a lot “smoother” then the Bush Administration…

Come to think of it, anyone else’s would be more affective.

Scott McClellan said it best that the White House Press Corps gave the Bush Administration a pass. Outside of Helen Thomas and David Gregory, I can’t think of anyone else who asked any hard questions to anyone in the Bush Administration.

This primary season has demonstrated how the modern media is fueled by corporate interest. They have “cherry picked” issues they know will provide the most boom for their bottom line at the time.

In other words, you get “news” that is less about informing you of what’s going on, but more about what will be the news piece that will get you to watch that day; that gets them higher  for that period; which allows the news company to charge advertisers more; which causes their revenue to increase; which makes their shareholders happy; which raises the parent companies stock price; which allows the board of directors of the parent company to make more money with large salaries in the tens of millions.

I now rely on the tag surfer to get a synopsis of my news so that I may form my own opinion of what’s relevant and what’s not. Though some of you are paid by either the Obama/Clinton/MCain/News Corp people to pose as general public bloggers, I’m still able to dissiminate the news with my own will.

Not George Will.

People such as

Who ever would have known these three groups had something in common. They all won’t vote for a brotha! The first group is a given. It’s like living under a rock. Kentucky & West Virginia are examples of places that suffer from having not been affected by integration. And don’t say their the better for it. I don’t think either state makes the list of the most desirable places to live in the past 60 publications of “Best Places to Live” (if there are 60). More like the states more likely to have an inbred affect a national election.

The second group is sort of a surprise. Maybe it’s more of the “we should go first” mentality (chivalry is not thought of when a man thinks about Hillary Clinton, sorry). This group has certainly shown it’s racist Willie Horton side by uttering the “I’ll leave the party and vote for McCain (the serial sexist) because Obama, gulp, “is terribly sexist” (see Geraldine “Fiero”) crap. This whole position makes no sense and should be terribly embarrassing to any woman uttering it who claims to be a feminist. I mean you do know McCain called his wife a “cunt”. In public. Dude is “seriously terribly sexist”. Oh, I get it. Your doing your vaunted “Jedi Mind Trick” impersonation. Say one thing you know will not be challenged (because you always resort to the “men are sexist” card ad nauseam when things don’t go your way) but really mean another (I ain’t votin’ for no black guy) and convince others (women and gay men) that this is the right position to take. Get the hell outta here, pun intended.

The last group just sorta blows me away. I mean why am I even seeing headline articles talking about ” Florida Jews unsure of Obama because of Isreal”. Who gives a sh_t. look, I admire how zealous Jews are about their culture. But when it starts using MY COUNTRY as it’s tool in it’s zealous approach towards defending it’s culture, to the tune where American Soldiers loose their lives because of the agenda of the Jewish controlled “neo conservative” movement that put Dupya in office; well I gotta draw the line! You screwed up the last two elections. Thank God your idiot Democrat leadership in Florida blundered in moving up your primaries to the dismay of Howard Dean! Your outta the equation.

Isreal has nothing to do with $4 gas, the rising cost of food and people loosing their jobs here in the U.S.. I DON’T CARE ABOUT ISREAL! I care about being able to buy my daughter a pair of frickin shoes and putting food on my diner table! (Or does it? Hmmmmmm)

As a black guy, I don’t have a lot of images of like figures in the public that do me good and dilutes the negative stereotypes that so many others in my breathen constantly fuel (Thanks for nothing 50 Cent/Adam “Pac Man” Jones/and just about every southern rapper). Obama does just that! Thats just one of the reasons I support the man. Did I vote for Alan Keyes when he was running for President? Hell no I didn’t. I voted for a white guy. There.

U.S. Jews, on the other hand, has Joe Lieberman leading their charge and looking like a fool. Come to think of it, I don’t feel so bad. We’ve got 50 Cent, you’ve got Joe Lieberman. Geesh. Just think, that guy could have been the Vice President of the United States. What was Al Gore thinking?

Stroll the South Platte Riverwalk. Imagine yelling “Your not the boss of me!” at Bill while standing in the Oval Office.

Denver South Platte river greenway

Could have been you. Had you won the nomination, that is.

Look to the left. Beautiful snow caps to the south of Denver seem so close. A look to the right provides the same vantage point Northwest of Denver.

Denver\'s veiw of snowcaps

Then, go slam some shots of Crown Royal in LODO like you did with the working class whites you were pandering to in Crown Point, Indiana. They probably didn’t even vote for you.

This is just the place to realize that what you’ve done to the Democrat Party is a low down dirty shame!

Lower downtown Denver

Now, come to grips with the fact that your hopes of becoming President are dead, forever. Any possibility of you being a factor in future politics is also dead. Why? Quite simply, YOU LIE TOO MUCH.

What have I done?

Thanks for extending this campaign so that you could expose yourself for the liar and race baiter that you are.

Just think, If you had dropped out after Super Tuesday, blacks would have never known about you and Bubba’s “Willie Horton” ways.

Your cabins contents (Maya Angelou, Bob Johnson and Maxine Waters) would have been effective campaigners in garnering the black vote.

Then, you would have won their support overwhelmingly in 2016.
