“Barbara West is married to Republican strategist Wade West” (look at her Wiki). Don’t you just LOVE the internet in these times.

IT IS SO EASY TO I.D. “CONSERVATIVE MEDIA BIAS”!

Some dopes are plastering the biogoshpere with crap headlines like ” Real Reporter asks real questions to Joe Biden”.  The real heading is “Part-time reporter asks GOP planted questions to Biden during interview”.

I must say I loved the way Biden handled this lady. This is exactly the way today’s Democrats need to deal with Republican zealots who themselves are good at dishing but are not adapt at receiving. John Kerry’s inability to deal with “CONSERVATIVE MEDIA BIAS” in a similar fashion is what cost’s him the election. HE AND QUITE A BIT OF OTHER DEMOCRATS ARE SOFT!

But I must say that I love it when someone with Go Nads knows how to take the fight to Republicans who are really quite soft themselves. They just generally carry big bank account sticks that makes their bark pretty tough. At least before the Wall Street Bailout.

Anyway, take a look at the “softball” questions “Real Reporter”/GOP operative Barbara West LED John McCain’s interview with during it’s entirety on October 14, 2008:

Barbara West Interviews John McCain (10/14/08)

She followed this one up with the Biden interview:

And preceeded that interview with this one with Senator Obama:

Barbara West Interview with Barack Obama, Sept 12, 2008

Now I love it when the few Democrats who know how and when to give it back brings it home:

“WATCH WHAT YOU SAY” should be the opening phrase used at all future McCain/Palin rally’s. Ari Fleischer’s tone would be needed to drive home the point. Or maybe Samuel L. Jackson.

Anyway, it’s against the law to threaten the life of a candidate running for office, let alone for the President of the United States! And please believe, if you say something threatening towards Obama, if he actually wins the Presidency, you could be in for at least a visit from the FBI.

No special treatment for the black guy. Standard protocol and procedure for the Secret Service.

Looks like they’re going to have to hire a whole bunch of new agents.

Johnny Boy needs a nap. He’s clearly got a debate hangover in this one. NOW BEING A MILITARY VET MYSELF, I do respect his war ordeal. With that said, Him referring to his supporters as “my fellow prisoners” tells you where is mind is at.

This guy does not need to be any where near the White House. I’m serious. He might start having flashbacks like this while he’s making key decisions.

Geesh!

Does anyone even mention the “Contract With America” anymore? Trust me, if the shoe was on the other foot, todays media would be all over the Democrats asking, ” Just how has that contract turned out?

The mantra of Republican ideology since the days of Reagan has been “less government, more prosperity”. Twenty years ago through ONE month ago, you could not have had a conversation with a Republican about the economy without them saying “there’s too much government regulation/involvement in our lives. If government gets out the way, businesses can do what they need to do to keep the economy growing.”

For the past two years, the Democrats have had a slim majority in Congress. They can’t even pass anything strong enough to override a Presidential veto. Prior to this time frame, the first six years of Dupya’s Presidency was controlled by Republicans who had a decided majority in Congress. They passed bills that were shaped by their ideology of “less government, more prosperity” at their leisure. The only tool Democrats had  against the Republican majority during that time was the use of the filibuster. To take this even further, Congress was also controlled by Republican’s during the entire 8 years of the Clinton Administration.

Today, Republicans (though the minority in Congress) don’t even have to use a filibuster on Capitol Hill. They don’t need it. They have enough votes at anytime to vote down anything the Democrats bring up. They have passed legislation that has given tax breaks that along with the war in Iraq, has driven the budget deficit to record proportions. The Bush Administration has put political appointees in every administrative position in all government agencies that work to prevent the proper functioning of these agencies. The following has been examples of the Bush Administrations efforts to deregulate the federal government without getting congress to pass any laws:

When Advocates Become Regulators President Bush has installed more than 100 top officials who were once lobbyists, attorneys or spokespeople for the industries they oversee.

Bush appointees censor scientists at government agencies

Bush Administration Political Appointee Reverses Endangered Species Protections for Nation\’s Wildlife

Bush administration under a cloud

Appointees Guarding The Henhouse

A Young Bush Appointee Resigns His Post at NASA

The mantra of less government regulation has been the drum that has been beat on by Republicans since Reagan. THIS WAS THEIR CONTRACT WITH AMERICA! Now they are saying that more regulation is needed and that it is just as much the Democrats fault as it is theirs that the country is nearing a “Great Depression”; but we’re not in a recession. WTF?

Even with a screw up performance tonight by Palin , McCain will still be within sticking distance of beating Obama. Why? Because Obama’s black and quite a bit of the voting public just can’t get past that. No matter the train wreck the McCain/Palin ticket is.

‘You know what the difference is between you and me?  I make this look good!

Obama fist bump:

A new age of leadership

Vs.

George Bush Chest bump

This is not cool

This is not right

This is should NEVER be done

As you can see, at the very least, the Obama Administration will be a lot “smoother” then the Bush Administration…

Come to think of it, anyone else’s would be more affective.
